Who am I?

As a child I would mimic commercials.

In college I auditioned for a play. The director asked me if I had ever taken an acting lesson. I said, “no”.  He encouragingly replied, “I think you should.”

After college, I waitressed at a restaurant that was popular with prominent actors and directors. A frequent question was not “What are the specials?” but “What do you do with your voice? I answered matter-of-factly, “I take your order.”

Dating, when I left messages for my boyfriends, their friends wondered who was behind the sexy voice.

As a founder of an award-winning catering company, 90% of my sales were secured over the phone without people ever tasting my food prior to their event. This same skill helped land me the position of Director of Special Event Sales for one of the largest venues in New York.

Now, I am a top broker at Douglas Elliman for over 14 years. My voice in real estate videos is instrumental in my success--so much so that the New York Post featured one of the videos and Netflix cast me on their show Dating Around.  I’ve also been interviewed by the Sold and Closed podcast.

When masks made us all anonymous in public during Covid, acquaintances at my local Trader Joe’s would recognize me from a distance from my voice! After experiencing this many times, it all finally clicked, I had a talent I needed to pursue.

Now, if someone asks, “What do you do with your voice?”  my answer is “Your next commercial!”
